21st Century Democratic-Republican Party Chair Ben Everidge

Welcome!

We like to think of ourselves as the Damn Regular People Party. We are happy you are interested in our effort to organize and form a viable alternative to our country's current two major political parties.

We don’t need to tell you politics has certainly gotten crazy these past few years. Nobody in office today wants to get anything done for the American people. Crises grow and continue to be ignored. Collaboration has given way to obstructionism and extremism. Political paralysis and hyper-polarized results, not surprisingly. But we think like-minded people can change that dynamic for the good - and we are here to try.

what we believe

One person can make a difference. Two people make a team. Three or more people make a movement. It all starts there, in our opinion. Two guys, long ago, thought so too. They drafted a document and got many people on board with their plan. You might remember them. Thomas Jefferson, his American Declaration of Independence, and his partner, James Madison, the father of the U.S. Constitution. They called their political home the Democratic-Republican Party.

we Dream it

We see an America where good for the many can get done again if we get our heads out of the political sand. We believe you can take the good politics and policy from the past and apply it to the future. Together, we can continue to make history worthwhile.

now we are Building it

In order to move forward, we must bring people together in a new way—a 21st-century way—that can leave behind those who want to say yay rather than nay all the time. Our party is a rebirth of that old venture that gave us the greatest nation on earth.
